Privacy notice

Kisan Subsidy is a private website, not a government website. This notice explains what we collect and why, as the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the IT Rules, 2011 ask.

What we collect today

We do not ask for your name, phone number or any other detail to use this site.

• Your approximate state. When you open a page, our hosting provider (Vercel Inc.) reads the state your internet connection appears to come from — only the state, never your exact location. We use it to show your state’s schemes first and to suggest your language, and keep the state code in a cookie, ks-region, for one year.
• Your language. If you choose a language, we remember it in a cookie, ks-lang, for one year. If you close the language suggestion, we remember that in ks-hint for 30 days.
• Server logs. Like every website, our host keeps a short technical log of requests, including your IP address, used only to keep the site running and secure.

These cookies are needed for the site to work as you asked. We use no advertising or tracking cookies and no analytics. You can delete them in your browser at any time; the site still works, in English and for all states.

When the help form opens

It will ask for your name, mobile number, place and question, with your consent, used only to answer you, never sold or shared for marketing, and deleted 12 months after our last reply or sooner on request.

Your rights

You may ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct or erase it, withdraw your consent, and name someone to act for you. Write to the grievance officer below; we reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Children

This site is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes and languages

We post any change to this notice here with its date. Translations other than English and Hindi are made by AI; if they differ, the English notice prevails.
