How to apply
- Register on the DBT portal and apply online; selection is first come, first served (paras 10–11).
- For a hut, build to the thatch-house layout (Annexure-4); the Assistant Director, Horticulture certifies the work before payment (para 4.4).
- Kits are supplied by registered firms through the Assistant Director, Horticulture of your district (paras 5, 7).
Applying is free. Never pay anyone to apply for you.
When to apply
The latest order is for 2025-26; the 2026-27 horticulture dashboard lists only the project-based (MIDH) mushroom route.
Combining with other schemes
The documents do not say whether this can be combined with other schemes. Ask the implementing office before you count on both.
