Up to ₹1,00,000 for a 300 sq ft crop store on your field and up to ₹2,00,000 for 600 sq ft, pro rata in between; nothing for under 300 sq ft.
What the document says, word for word
The structure needs a plinth at least 2 ft high, a roof at least 10 ft high at the centre, at least one door and one window, masonry walls and a PCC floor, and a GI-sheet, cement-sheet or tile roof (RCC at your own cost); a precast concrete structure also qualifies (cl. (3)). It may not be used as a tube-well or well pump room (cl. (3)(ચ)). Once in a lifetime per 8-A, for one of its holders with the others’ consent (cl. (4)). The 2026-27 budget speech mentions “₹1 lakh” per farmer; the GR of 11 May 2026 sets the ₹1–2 lakh scale we show.

How to apply
- Apply online on the i-Khedut portal and keep a printout (cl. (5)).
- Applications are put in order by a taluka-wise electronic draw; those within the target get prior approval by letter or SMS (cl. (6), (7)(ખ)).
- Start building within 60 days of prior approval and upload a photo; finish within 150 days and submit the claim with bills (cl. (7)(ચ)).
- After a site check with a geo-tagged photo, the assistance is paid to your bank account (cl. (7)(છ), (7)(જ)).
Applying is free. Never pay anyone to apply for you.
When to apply
Applications are taken on i-Khedut on the schedule set by the Director of Agriculture (cl. (7)(ક)).
Combining with other schemes
The documents do not say whether this can be combined with other schemes. Ask the implementing office before you count on both.
