50% of the unit cost up to ₹3.50 lakh — at most ₹1,75,000 — for a mushroom unit with all six component groups.
What the document says, word for word
The unit must be in a building of 800–1,200 sq ft on land in the beneficiary’s own name, with all components (fabrication, sterilisation autoclave of at least 100 litres, humidifier and chopper, harvest tools, accessories); a bank loan is not compulsory (p.7). These guidelines are for 2023-24. The department’s current “State Sector Schemes” page still lists them under Comprehensive Horticulture Development, but we found no 2025-26 or 2026-27 order for this component, so the status is shown as unknown.
