A bee box, bee colony and stand (package rate up to ₹4,500) at 75% subsidy (SC/ST 90%) — up to 10 sets for farmers with land, 4 for landless applicants; a stainless-steel honey extractor at 75% of ₹4,500; and 75% of up to ₹51,000 to set up a private apiary (madhuvana).

Price caps inside the package: box ₹2,000, colony ₹2,000, stand ₹500. Each colony must have about 4 frames full of worker bees and one mature queen. A person who already got this subsidy under any beekeeping scheme cannot get it again (section VI, item 7).

- Land record (pahani) — for a madhuvana, a pahani dated after 01-01-2022 showing at least half an acre
- Residence certificate (landless applicants)
How to apply
- Watch for the district horticulture deputy director’s notice, then apply on the department’s HASIRU platform with the Annexure-1 form (section on implementation, items 1–3).
- Buy boxes, colonies and stands only from suppliers approved by the horticulture department, paying the full amount by NEFT/RTGS/digital payment — never cash or cheque (component 2).
- Attach the payment receipt / transaction ID; officers verify the colonies on site and the subsidy is paid by DBT (component 2).
- Landless rural or urban applicants need a residence certificate (component 2).
