Madhu Kendra Yojana (beekeeping) — Maharashtra State Khadi & Village Industries Board
After 10 days’ training, beekeepers get bee boxes, honey extractors and other equipment from the Khadi Board’s workshop with 50% of the cost as subsidy (the other 50% is the beekeeper’s share, by loan or cash), and the Board buys their honey at a guaranteed price.

How to apply
- Apply to the District Village Industries Officer of the Khadi & Village Industries Board when it advertises the scheme; a district committee headed by the Collector selects beneficiaries.
- Take the compulsory 10-day residential beekeeping training at a Board-approved centre (मधपाळ पात्रता 4).
- Arrange your 50% share (Mudra or bank loan, or cash); the Board supplies the boxes and equipment from its Gokul Shirgaon workshop, Kolhapur.
