Papers you need

  • Application written on plain paper (no set form), given through the Horticulture Development Officer of your block or circle, or the District Horticulture Officer, or a Government Mushroom Development Centre (Upper Shillong, Jowai, Tura) (FAQ Q.5, p.23)

How to apply

  1. You must be a bona fide farmer interested in growing mushroom with own or leased land of at least 0.2 ha (FAQ, Mushroom, Q.4).
  2. Apply on plain paper to the Horticulture Development Officer of your block or circle, the District Horticulture Office, or directly at a Government Mushroom Development Centre — Upper Shillong, Jowai or Tura (Q.5).
  3. Supply is first come, first served (Q.6).
