What the document says, word for word

Each instalment is tied to outputs: attending training, buying drums and containers, preparing Beejamrut and Jeevamrut, and in year 2 training 6 more farmers (Annexure VII, 4.1). The incentive is for up to one acre per farmer even if you farm more (cl. 22.5, item C, p.31).

“4. Output based incentive : 4.1. ₹4000/- per acre per year for 2 years (maximum incentive for up to 1 acre per farmer) will be released in installments to the aadhar authenticated bank accounts of trained willing farmers as per the following norms mentioned : Year 1 — 1st installment, August, 2000/-; 2nd installment, February, 2000/-; Year 2 — 3rd installment, Mid Kharif, 2000/-; 4th installment, Mid Rabi, 2000/-”

How to apply

  1. Natural farming is run in clusters chosen by the state; the Krishi Sakhis (community resource persons) of your cluster enrol willing farmers at the start of each crop season (cl. 12.4(iv)).
  2. You must live in the Gram Panchayat, attend the awareness meetings and training at a KVK, agricultural university or local natural-farming institution, and start natural farming on part of your land (Annexure VII, 1.1–1.3, 2.2).
  3. You also agree to train and hand-hold 6 more farmers and let your farm be used as a natural-farming demonstration farm (Annexure VII, 1.4–1.5).

Farmers are enrolled at the beginning of each crop season (cl. 12.4(iv)); instalments are paid in August and February of year 1 and mid-kharif and mid-rabi of year 2 (Annexure VII, 4.1).
