- Aadhaar-linked bank account (NPCI-linked)
How to apply
- Register on the agriculture department’s DBT portal (dbtagriculture.bihar.gov.in) if you have not already (cl. 1.7, 2.1).
- Buy diesel at a registered petrol pump in Bihar and get a digital/computerised voucher with the last 10 digits of your registration number; sign it (cl. 3.5).
- Apply online under “अनुदान के लिए आवेदन” → “डीजल अनुदान” or on the Bihar Krishi App, with your 13-digit registration number, crop, area in decimal and the voucher (cl. 3.1–3.7, 3.13).
- Apply separately for each irrigation; the agriculture coordinator verifies and the money goes to your Aadhaar-linked bank account (cl. 2.2, 3.8, 4.1).
Applying is free. Never pay anyone to apply for you.
When to apply
Kharif 2026 only: diesel bought after the date in the published advertisement and up to its last date counts (cl. 2.6).
Combining with other schemes
The documents do not say whether this can be combined with other schemes. Ask the implementing office before you count on both.
