At least 5 plants. The 2026-27 online application page prints a higher unit cost (₹115: ₹100 production + ₹15 transport; 75% = ₹86.25); we show the sanction order’s ₹85 / ₹63.75 until the order is amended, so the figure is never overstated.

“नारियल के पौधा की इकाई लागत 85.00 रूपये (उत्पादन व्यय 70.00 रूपये एवं जिला परिवहन व्यय 15.00 रूपये) है। इकाई लागत 85.00 रूपये प्रति पौधा पर 75 प्रतिशत सहायतानुदान यानि 63.75 रूपये देय होगा। … एक लाभार्थी को न्यूनतम 5 तथा अधिकतम 712 पौधा (प्रति हेक्टेयर 178 पौधा) अनुदानित दर पर उपलब्ध कराया जायेगा।”

How to apply

  1. Register on the DBT portal (para 10), then apply on the Bihar Krishi app (para 9) or from the horticulture dashboard.
  2. Selection is first come, first served (para 10).
  3. Pay your share (25%); the District Horticulture Officer hands over the plants supplied by the Coconut Development Board, Patna (para 6).
