Papers you need
- Clear project proposal for the unit
- Latest land ownership certificate from the Circle Officer and rent receipt, or a registered lease of at least 10 years; at least 35, 70 or 100 decimal in one plot for 1,000, 2,000 or 3,000 t
- Bank’s consent letter for the loan, or a notarised ₹100 affidavit to finish without a loan (Form-01)
- Road map sketch of the site; Aadhaar and PAN of the applicant (and of the company/partnership, with registration, AoA and MoA if a company)
- Notarised ₹100 affidavit to produce at full capacity for at least 10 years (Form-02)
How to apply
- Apply online on dbtagriculture.bihar.gov.in to the Director of Agriculture with a project proposal and the listed papers (cl. 5).
- The Directorate checks the papers and gives in-principle approval within 5 days (Form-03) (cl. 7).
- Before selling compost, get it tested and take a marketing authorisation, applied for online with a ₹2,250 registration fee (cl. 8–9).
- Claim the subsidy on Form-06: 50% after civil works, plant and machinery are complete, 25% at 50% of capacity, 25% at full capacity (cl. 10(ख), 10(ग)).
