How to apply
- Fill the prescribed form, get it recommended by your gram panchayat and approved by the janpad panchayat, then by the district panchayat’s agriculture standing committee (notes 2–3).
- After approval, buy a 1–2-year-old breeding buck from a government goat farm or locally, as the district officer directs (item 2; note 4).
- The sarpanch (or ward member) and the local veterinary staff verify the purchase; if bought locally, attach the panchayat fee receipt (note 5).
- The subsidy is then paid into your bank account (DBT) (note 6).
