What the document says, word for word

Only a desi cow (not Jersey, HF or other exotic breeds, and not a calf) with an identification tag, and full desi-cow-based natural farming on at least one acre (40 guntha); one benefit per 8-A account; you must have natural-farming training (Annexure-2, ખ.1–4). Aid stops if the cow dies or is sold, if chemical fertiliser is found in use, or if you stop natural farming (Annexure-1, 2, 7–9).

“દેશી ગાય આધારિત સંપુર્ણ પ્રાકૃતિક ખેતી કરતા ખેડૂત કુટુંબને એક ગાય માટે નિભાવ ખર્ચ અર્થે રૂ.૯૦૦/- પ્રતિ માસ (રૂ.૧૦,૮૦૦/- ની વાર્ષિક મર્યાદામાં) સહાય આપવાની આ યોજના છે. જે હેઠળ રાજ્યના તમામ ખેડૂતોને લાભ મળવાપાત્ર થશે.”

  • Consent letter of the other holders, if the account is joint (Annexure-2, ગ.3)
  • Copy of bank passbook or a cancelled cheque (Annexure-2, ગ.3)

How to apply

  1. Apply online on i-Khedut to the Project Director, ATMA (from e-Gram or any computer); the office will also enter a paper application while the portal is open (Annexure-2, ગ.1).
  2. Sign the printout and give it with the documents to the gram sevak/BTM/ATM within 7 days (Annexure-2, ગ.2–3).
  3. After the draw, a two-person team checks the cow, its ear tag and your natural farming and uploads a photo of you with the cow (Annexure-2, ઘ.2–3).
  4. The aid is paid by DBT six months in advance (₹5,400), after a fresh check every six months (Annexure-2, ચ.1–3).
