Fruit growers who put a field-cover structure over an orchard get 40% of a ₹5,00,000-a-hectare unit cost, up to ₹2,00,000 a hectare, on 0.20 to 1 hectare.

“એકમ ખર્ચ:-રૂ.૫,૦૦,૦૦૦/- એકમ/સ્ટ્રકચર (૧.૦૦ હેક્ટર વિસ્તાર માટે) • એકમ ખર્ચના ૪૦% અથવા મહત્તમ રૂ.૨,૦૦,૦૦૦/- પ્રતિ હે. સહાય મળવાપાત્ર રહેશે.”

Papers you need

  • Printout of your online i-Khedut application; keep it with you (Annexure-3 (1), p.7).
  • Bills and other proof of your purchase or work, shown to the horticulture officer for checking (Annexure-3 (4), p.7).
  • Only if you apply in the 5% quota for persons with disabilities: a valid disability certificate (condition 25, p.3).

How to apply

  1. Apply online on the i-Khedut portal and keep a printout (Annexure-3 (1)).
  2. The taluka officer inspects the site before eligibility is fixed and records it with a geo-tagged photo (Annexure-1, 15).
  3. Finish the structure within 90 days of prior approval (30 more days may be allowed) (Annexure-1, 16).
  4. After a joint site check, the help is paid by DBT to your bank account (Annexure-1, 12, 17).
