The GR prints the norm per hectare and plans 370 hectares for about 370 beneficiaries; the cost sheet (Annexure-1.3) is for one hectare, so we count one hectare. The unit must run for at least five years; help again only after five years (condition 5, column 5).

“પ્રતિ હેક્ટરે રૂ.૧.૫૦ લાખ મર્યાદામાં ૯૦% લેખે વધુમાં વધુ રૂ.૧.૩૫ લાખ સહાય મળવા પાત્ર રહેશે, જ્યારે ૧૦% લેખે (રૂ.૦.૧૫ લાખ) ફાળો લેબર ખર્ચ તરીકે લાભાર્થીએ પોતે ભોગવવાનો રહેશે.”

Papers you need

  • 7/12 and 8-A extract or talati’s certificate of land (condition 9)
  • For gaushalas without own land: a 5-year lease (condition 4)
  • Aadhaar or registration certificate; proof of income source; last 6 months’ bank statement (conditions 14–16)
  • For gaushalas, panjrapoles, SHGs, FPOs and milk societies: income-tax returns of the last three years (condition 17)
  • Geo-tagged photos of the site and a consent letter to bear the 10% share (conditions 18–19)

How to apply

  1. Send a detailed proposal on paper to the district panchayat, signed by the talati and sarpanch with their recommendation (Annexure-1, conditions 3, 20).
  2. Grow only perennial fodder crops on non-forest wasteland, rangeland, grassland or other land; buy slips/seed from state agricultural universities or government farms (conditions 2, 10, 11).
  3. Submit bills for fencing, land development, farm shed, tools, irrigation, inputs and labour at the district panchayat; the help is paid to your bank account (conditions 12, 15).
