How to apply
- Apply through the Chief Animal Husbandry Officer of your district; you need enough land for the shed and the calves (heifer units, Eligibility).
- Buy 20 elite female calves aged 3 months or more from within J&K and rear them to about 3 years or first calving; list saleable stock on e-Pashu Haat (para e).
- Milk start-ups: register your SHG/FPO; no help is given for land, old machinery or personal vehicles (para 5).
