Each unit carries its own terms in column (vii): e.g. a hatchery needs at least 10 lakh fry a year on 0.4 ha, a raceway needs land for 50 m³ of rearing space, and RAS units are limited to one per individual (two per group of at least 10 members). Assistance is on actual cost within the printed ceiling. HADP is still running (Government Orders of 2026 sanction HADP funds for 2026-27), but we found no current order for this project’s farmer components, and the rates are from the 2022 guidelines. Confirm with the department before you invest.

  • Detailed Project Report / self-contained proposal with bank consent for your share
  • Proof of land: ownership or a registered lease of at least 10 years
  • Undertaking that no other government assistance is availed for the project

How to apply

  1. Prepare a Detailed Project Report (or self-contained proposal) with costs, species, source of your share including bank consent, and an undertaking that no other government assistance is taken (terms, item 1(i)).
  2. Show own land or a registered lease of at least 10 years (item 1(ii)); for a raceway you must be a domicile of the UT (item 2).
  3. Submit it to the District Fisheries Officer of your district; input assistance is released only after the rearing units are ready (item 3).
