Papers you need
- The prescribed application form (Namune-1) with the documents it asks for (3.3)
How to apply
- Fill in the prescribed application form and submit it with the documents at your Raitha Samparka Kendra; it is entered on K-KISAN (3.3).
- Applications are taken up by seniority; if there are more than the target, a district committee picks by lottery (3.2).
- An agriculture officer inspects your field within 7 days and fixes the pond size with you; then a work order is issued (3.4, 3.5).
- Build the pond within 15–30 days of the work order, or your application is set aside for the next eligible farmer (3.2).
- After the post-inspection with GPS photos, the subsidy is paid by DBT (3.5).
Applying is free. Never pay anyone to apply for you.

The guidelines set no closing date.
Combining with other schemes
The documents do not say whether this can be combined with other schemes. Ask the implementing office before you count on both.
