For a post-harvest tool under ₹10,000 the state pays half; for one costing ₹10,000 or more it pays three-quarters.

“(i) 50% assistance to farmers’ for purchase of post-harvest equipments/ tools costing below ₹ 10,000/- (Another 50% is farmers’ share). (ii) 75% assistance to farmers for purchase of post-harvest equipments/ tools costing ₹10,000/- and above (Another 25% is farmers’ share).”

How much can I claim?

Tool costing below ₹10,000: the state pays 50%, you pay 50%. Tool costing ₹10,000 or more: the state pays 75%, you pay 25% (Q.3).

  • Application written on plain paper (no set form), given through the Horticulture Development Officer of your block or circle, or the District Horticulture Officer (FAQ Q.5, p.24)

  1. Bona fide farmers and entrepreneurs can apply (FAQ, Agricultural Marketing Scheme, Q.4).
  2. Write an application on plain paper and give it to the Horticulture Development Officer of your C&RD Block or Horticulture Circle, or to the District Horticulture Officer. (Q.5)
  3. Selection is first come, first served (Q.6).
