Papers you need

  • Application (online on GO-SUGAM or Annexure-I) with Aadhaar and an Aadhaar-linked mobile number
  • Proof of land (own or a registered lease of at least 7 years), free of encumbrances
  • Affidavit before the Executive Magistrate for joint property
  • Coastal Aquaculture Authority licence for brackish-water shrimp units

How to apply

  1. Register and apply on the GO-SUGAM portal (or offline through the block Assistant Fisheries Officer), preferably by December (para 4.2(ii), para 7).
  2. After site verification, the District Level Committee approves and the District Fisheries Officer issues a go-ahead with the model layout (para 4.2(ix)–(x)).
  3. Take the biofloc training, build the unit and stock fish or shrimp seed (para 4.2(vi), (xii)).
  4. Upload the self-declaration and GST bills; the subsidy is paid 60% after the tanks and shed, 40% after stocking — or all at once (para 4.2(xii), (xiv)).
