What it pays
40% (60% for SC/ST/women/transgender/PwD) of the printed input cost of your farm pond: ₹16,000 (20×20 m), ₹9,000 (15×15 m) or ₹4,000 (10×10 m).
What the document says, word for word
One-time support, limited to 1 acre of water area per beneficiary; the pond needs at least 5 ft of water for 5 months. Transgender and PwD farmers also get 60%. One benefit per family; none if a family member got this subsidy in the last two years (para 5(iv)).

How to apply
- Get your farm pond on the list the soil-conservation office or BDO gives to the Assistant Fisheries Officer (AFO) of your block (para 7(i)).
- Submit the Annexure-II application at the block fisheries office — the timeline asks for July (para 10).
- After the District Fisheries Officer’s go-ahead letter, buy fingerlings from a Government/OPDC farm or a local hatchery and stock them with the AFO present (para 7(vi)–(ix)).
- Give the seed receipts; pay for any item of ₹20,000 or more online. The subsidy comes to your bank account by DBT (para 7(x)–(xii)).
