How to apply
- Apply on the GO-SUGAM portal (or at the block fisheries office if the land record will not verify online) with the documents in the checklist (para 6A(ii)).
- The Assistant Fisheries Officer inspects the site; the District Level Committee under the Collector approves, and the District Fisheries Officer issues a go-ahead letter (para 6A(vi)–(ix)).
- Dig the pond (or stock the existing one); pay for any item of ₹20,000 or more online and keep the GST bills (para 6A(xxii)).
- The back-ended subsidy is paid in two phases to your bank account (or loan account if bank-financed) after inspection (para 6A(xx)–(xxiii), 6B.2(xiv)).

When to apply
Applications through GO-SUGAM during the financial year; the guideline stays in force till 2028-29 unless revised (para 6B.2(xxvii)).
