Papers you need

  • Record of rights of land — only if you opt for shed construction
  • First page of the bank passbook
  • Caste certificate if not General; transgender certificate from the National Portal for Transgender Persons; 40%+ disability certificate for PwD

How to apply

  1. Apply on the GO-SUGAM portal with the listed documents, choosing “with shed” or “no shed”; one person per household, once in 3 years (Sl. 7).
  2. The Block Veterinary Officer’s team inspects; the District Level Committee approves and the CDVO issues a go-ahead letter with a transport permit (Sl. 7).
  3. Within 60 days build the shed (if chosen) and buy cows (CBJ/CBHF/Gir/Sahiwal, 10+ litres a day) or graded Murrah buffaloes (8+ litres) from outside the State; pay the seller electronically and insure the animals (Sl. 8).
  4. The subsidy comes by DBT in two halves — after the first animal (and shed) and after the second (Sl. 10).
