What it pays
Up to ₹30,000 per farming family to take up an integrated farming system in a rainfed cluster.
What the document says, word for word
The same ₹30,000 for every family whatever its land size, and it is a ceiling (“restricted to”). The system must include crops plus at least two of: fish fingerlings, a bee unit, a silage pit, a vermicompost/organic input unit (Annexure-XLIV). Only in the rainfed clusters your state selects.
“Support to each farming family under RAD component will be restricted to financial assistance of Rs.30,000/-.The amount of assistance shall be uniform for all farmers irrespective of the size of their land holding.”₹5,000 a hectare in cash (₹2,500 land development + ₹2,500 marketing support) for moving a cluster-demonstration field from paddy to maize, kharif pulses or oilseeds — Punjab, Haryana and Western UP only.
What the document says, word for word
Crop Diversification Programme only: it runs in Punjab, Haryana and Western Uttar Pradesh, in the over-exploited and critical groundwater blocks of major paddy districts (B.8.1). The Output-Outcome Framework 2026-27 sets no CDP target, so ask your district agriculture office whether CDP runs this year. The cash is printed for maize, kharif pulses (arhar, moong, urd, cluster bean) and oilseeds (soybean, til); the poplar/eucalyptus agroforestry column gets no cash part (table rows B and C show “-”). You must be one of the beneficiaries the district Programme Management Group picks for a 10-hectare cluster demonstration (B.8.4 III). The guideline prints no per-farmer area limit.
“The financial assistance of Rs 10000 per hectare expect poplar based agro-forestry system will be given in the form of Rs. 5000 for critical inputs including honorarium & other activities, Rs.2500 for land development and Rs.2500 for marketing support. … * &** Land development charge and marketing support will he paid to the farmers in cash to support the losses incurred due to diversion of area from paddy to alternate crops.”A cluster demonstration of an alternate crop on your paddy land, with critical inputs (seed, micronutrients, seed-treatment and plant-protection chemicals) supplied by the Agriculture Department — Punjab, Haryana and Western UP only.

The Output-Outcome Framework 2026-27 sets no CDP target, so ask your district agriculture office whether CDP runs this year. The inputs are arranged by the district Programme Management Group before sowing (B.8.5(i)); the money is not paid to you. One progressive farmer leads each 10-hectare cluster and gets a one-time ₹2,000 honorarium.
“Assistance @ of Rs.10000 per ha for Maize, kharif pulses ( arhar, mung bean, urd bean, cluster bean ), oilseeds ( soybean, til) and Rs.10000/- perhectare for poplar based agro-forestry system for sole crop. … An amount of Rs. 5000/- per hectare for inter-cropping of pulses and wheat will be provided to the farmers in the terms of critical inputs for organization of demonstrations.”Half the cost of a maize sheller, dryer, sprayer, thresher, pulse grader or maize processing unit, up to a per-machine limit, for a group of 10 farmers to run on custom hire — Punjab, Haryana and Western UP only.

“The crop specific farm machinery will be provided to the farming community (group of 10 farmers) on custom hiring basis.
