33.33% of your replanting cost, at most ₹1,00,000 a hectare in Tamil Nadu & Kerala, ₹75,000 elsewhere, or ₹33,600 for large cardamom.

Only registered cardamom growers holding up to 4 ha; at most 4 ha per grower and 2 ha a year; minimum plant stand 1,100/ha (small cardamom, TN & Kerala) or 4,000/ha (large cardamom). The same area can be helped again only after 8 years. Paid in two yearly instalments. SPICED was extended only to 30 September 2026 (or until a 16th Finance Commission scheme is approved); check with the Spices Board before planning on it.

Papers you need
- Land document (current-year tax receipt / Chitta Adangal / RTC; Parcha or possession certificate for large cardamom)
- Cardamom Registration certificate (small cardamom)
- Aadhaar card and copy of bank passbook
- Survey plan by the Village Officer or a registered surveyor (or a self-attested map for large cardamom)
- SC/ST certificate if applicable; panchayat/village headman NOC if the land is not in your name (large cardamom)
How to apply
- Apply through the Spices Board Grant Management System with the help of your Regional/Divisional/Field office of the Spices Board (notice of 25.06.2026, para 5 II).
- Replant at least 0.10 ha in one block with the required plant stand; Board officials inspect and recommend the eligible amount (Component I, 1.1.1–2.1).
- The subsidy comes in two yearly instalments, by bank transfer (Component I; General Guidelines 1).

Combining with other schemes
The documents do not say whether this can be combined with other schemes. Ask the implementing office before you count on both.
