Papers you need
- Boat registration under the M.S. Act 1958 (on or before 14 April)
- Valid licence certificate under the APMFR Act 1995
How to apply
- Your boat must be registered with the Department of Fisheries under the M.S. Act 1958 on or before 14 April of the year, and hold a valid licence under the APMFR Act 1995 (G.O.Rt.No.139 of 2025, amendment).
- Give your family details to the District Fisheries Officer of your coastal district; beneficiaries are selected under the scheme’s operational guidelines (G.O.Ms.No.12 of 2025, para 4).
- The family passes the government’s six-step validation; families covered by the NTR Bharosa fishermen pension are not eligible (G.O.Rt.No.139 of 2025).
