Papers you need
- Passport-size photo, Aadhaar copy and the first page of your Aadhaar-linked bank passbook
- Geo-tagged photos of the newly planted land
- Original bills from an approved nursery for the seedlings (or the department’s certificate for your own seedlings)
- Land tax receipt / RTC or other proof of legal possession of the land
- Undertaking that you followed the state’s package of practices, and the agriculture/horticulture officer’s certificate
- SC/ST certificate, if applicable
How to apply
- Plant at least 10 quality seedlings (5 in non-traditional states) bought from a CDB, government or accredited nursery, on land you have a right to (A.2 eligibility i–v).
- Fill the application (Annexure IV, free) and give it with geo-tagged photos and documents to your state agriculture/horticulture office, which forwards it to the CDB office (A.2 procedure).
- The Board inspects at least 25% of fields and pays the first half by DBT to your Aadhaar-linked account (release of subsidy i).
- Apply again in the next financial year for the second half; at least 80% of seedlings (60% in non-traditional and NE states) must survive (release of subsidy iii–v).
