How to apply

  1. Apply online on the Horticulture Beneficiary Tracking System portal (cghorticulture.gov.in/bts), with help from horticulture staff if needed (cl. 9(1)).
  2. Fill प्रपत्र-1 naming the khasra and area (0.25 to 2 hectares) where you will sow turmeric or ginger; you need an assured irrigation source (cl. 8(1), 8(3), 9(5)).
  3. Selection is first-come-first-served in clusters of at least 10 hectares, approved by the gram sabha (cl. 7(1), 8(5)).
  4. Seed comes from government nurseries or approved sources; the subsidy is paid against the bills, and you pay anything above it (cl. 11(1)–(2)).
