What the document says, word for word
Once every 7 years, for replacing your existing canoe; the canoe may not be sold, leased or transferred for 7 years (cl. 3(f), 4(a)). Since July 2025 you qualify with an OBC Kharvi certificate, a profession certificate from the Mamlatdar/municipality/panchayat, or a registered fishing-net licence, and must apply within six months of registering the canoe with the Captain of Ports (2025 amendment, cl. 3(a), 3(h)).

How to apply
- Get the form from the fisheries official at the BDO office or a Directorate of Fisheries sub-office (₹50) and submit it there with the dealer’s bill (cl. 3).
- Apply within six months of registering the new canoe with the Captain of Ports (2025 amendment, cl. 3(h)).
- After checking, the subsidy is paid to your bank account by ECS (cl. 4).
