You must apply and get the department’s prior approval before buying — machines bought without approval get no subsidy (opening paragraph). Only machines bought after 01.04.2025 from empanelled firms are paid (guideline A.2, A.4). If an SC/ST farmer is given a machine from the general allocation because SC/ST funds ran short, only the general 50% is paid (printed p.11, item 9).

Papers you need

  • Passport-size photo, attached to the application (Guidelines E(a)2, printed p.10)
  • Pahani (RTC) — your land record (E(a)2)
  • Caste certificate, if you apply as an SC/ST farmer (E(a)2)
  • Tractor RC book, where needed (E(a)2)
  • Bank account details (E(a)2)
  • Details of the bank, if you took a bank loan to buy the item (E(a)2)
  • Declaration on stamp paper of the fixed value that you will not misuse, sell or hand over the item (E(a)2)
  • If the land is held jointly: family tree of the heirs and their no-objection letter (E(a)2)

How to apply

  1. Apply with your documents at the Raitha Samparka Kendra and get the department’s prior approval before buying — machines bought without it get no subsidy (opening paragraph; printed p.11, item 4).
  2. Applications are taken by seniority on K-KISAN; if selected, pay your own share into the bank account of the rate-contract supplier within 10 days, or you move to the pending list (printed p.11, items 5–6).
  3. The taluk agriculture officer then issues the supply order to the supplier (printed p.11, item 10). Only machines from empanelled firms are paid (guideline A.4).
