The 50% is of the sale value you actually pay, not the MRP (cl. 23).
“The pattern of assistance and Maximum Permissible subsidy for the farmers for purchase of CRM machines on Individual ownership basis is 50% of the cost of machine or Upper limit given in the table whichever is less.”50% of the price of a stubble-management machine for an individual farmer, up to the subsidy the department fixes for that machine.
The department’s portal states the same rate: 50% of the machinery price or the subsidy fixed by the department, whichever is less (CRM ਸਕੀਮ ਦੇ ਦਿਸ਼ਾ ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼, rate table row 1).
“To address the challenge of crop residue burning, the Government continues to provide 80 percent subsidy to panchayats and 50 percent subsidy to individual farmers for the purchase of stubble management machinery.”80% of the machinery price for a registered farmer group, cooperative society, panchayat or FPO, up to the subsidy the department fixes.
Panchayats and registered farmer groups also get 80% (portal rate table; Budget Speech 2026-27 para 46 for panchayats), but our calculator has no panchayat or farmer-group category.
“ਮਸ਼ੀਨਰੀ ਦੀ ਕੀਮਤ ਦਾ 80% ਜਾਂ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਵਲੋਂ ਨਿਰਧਾਰਿਤ ਸਬਸਿਡੀ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਜੋ ਘੱਟ ਹੋਵੇ ਮਿਲੇਗੀ ।”80% of the cost of a village hiring centre, counted up to ₹10 lakh — at most ₹8,00,000.
The speech does not say who may run a centre beyond the 30% earmark for women self-help groups.
“Village level Agricultural Machinery Custom Hiring Centres will be established at an estimate of Rs.10 lakh each with a subsidy of 80 per cent, subject to a maximum subsidy of Rs.8 lakh.”75% (SC, ST, women, agri-engineering graduates) or 50% (others) of the cost, counted up to the ₹25 lakh unit cost.
Youth holding a diploma or degree in Agricultural Engineering also get 75%; our calculator cannot ask for that, so pick “SC/ST/woman” only if it applies — otherwise read 75% yourself.
“50 Integrated Agricultural Machinery Hiring Business Centres will be established at a unit cost of Rs.25 lakh each. A subsidy of 75 per cent will be provided to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Women entrepreneurs, youth holding a diploma or degree in Agricultural Engineering and 50 per cent subsidy for other entrepreneurs.”Drone operator training and a drone pilot licence at government cost.
“500 eligible persons, including 100 women, will be provided drone operator training and a drone pilot license through the Remote Pilot Training Organization of the Tamil Nadu Agricultural University at State government cost of Rs.1.50 crore.”50% of the price of a drone, for a woman who has completed the training.
“Drones will be provided with 50 per cent subsidy to 50 trained women, at an allocation of Rs.2.50 crore from the state fund.”A power-driven chaff cutter at 50% subsidy.
“the Department distributed 3,701 power-driven chaff cutters to livestock farmers at 50% subsidy during 2025–26, at a total cost of Rs.4.83 crore. … Further, 3,000 beneficiaries will be provided with power driven chaff cutters at a cost of Rs.4.83 crore.”Mini tractor up to 20 PTO HP: 25% of the cost, counted up to ₹3 lakh (at most ₹75,000).
