What it pays
An extra 25% (small and marginal farmers) or 30% (others, up to 5 ha) on top of the central drip/sprinkler subsidy — 80% or 75% in all.

Farmers who are not small or marginal get the 30% top-up on up to 5 ha. The state rates are maximums: you get the lower of the cost under the central norms and the ceiling (cl. 4(क)). Started in 2019 in drought-prone talukas, suicide-affected and Naxal-affected districts; extended to the remaining 107 talukas by GR of 18.11.2021, so it now covers the whole state.

How to apply
- Apply on the MahaDBT farmer portal; selection and payment are done through MahaDBT (2026-27 GR, para 3).
- For drip or sprinkler, the taluka agriculture officer also registers you under PMKSY Per Drop More Crop — the state amount is a top-up on that subsidy (cl. 4(iv)).
- Facilities are given only on the land whose 7/12 and 8-A extract you attach (cl. 5).
- The subsidy is credited to your Aadhaar-linked bank account (2026-27 GR, para 3).
