A state subsidy for planting new orchards (mango, guava, citrus, pomegranate, banana, papaya and more) on ¼ to 4 hectares: ₹30,000 to ₹80,000 a hectare depending on spacing and drip, paid 60:20:20 over three years.

40–50% of the unit cost, at most ₹30,000–₹50,000 a hectare without drip or ₹40,000–₹80,000 with drip (normal, high or ultra-high density), for ¼ to 4 hectares.

The scheme sheet is undated (2019 file); the 2026-27 budget funds the scheme, but check current rates with the district office.

How to apply

  1. Apply online with your Aadhaar number on mpfsts.mp.gov.in (items 7.1, 9).
  2. Plant on your own land, with enough irrigation, on new land or in place of food-grain crops (items 7.2, 7.3, 7.6).
  3. Contact the district Deputy/Assistant Director of Horticulture or the block horticulture officer (item 8).
