Only for a farmer who has no farm electricity connection, owns at least 0.4 ha (0.2 ha for ST farmers in notified tribal areas for 3 and 5 HP) and a water source, and will use drip, mini-sprinkler or sprinkler (cl. 2, 3). You pay the rest of the price (e.g. ₹93,541 for a 3 HP AC surface pump costing ₹2,02,933) and can take a bank loan for up to 30% of the cost (cl. 9.3). Your name goes to the power company and you cannot later get a subsidised farm electricity connection (cl. 4.3). Bills raised before 22.09.2025 keep the old rates (letter of 07.10.2025, point 1).

What the document says, word for word

The letter prints a flat ₹45,000 for every pump size (e.g. a 3 HP AC surface pump: farmer share ₹48,541 instead of ₹93,541). It is paid on top of the general subsidy. The 100% here is only how we show a fixed amount: you never get more than ₹45,000 from this line.

  • Affidavit that you have an irrigation water source and no farm electricity connection (Annexure-1, cl. 5.3)

How to apply

  1. Apply on the Raj Kisan Sathi portal through an e-Mitra or with your own SSO ID (cl. 4.1).
  2. Pick a listed supplier firm; it surveys your water source and proposes the pump size (cl. 11.2–11.4).
  3. Sign the three-party agreement on ₹500 stamp paper and, after online approval, deposit your farmer share with the District Horticulture Development Society (cl. 11.5–11.7).
  4. The firm installs the pump within 120 days of the work order; after physical verification the subsidy is paid to the firm (cl. 11.9, 12).

When to apply

Not confirmed for 2026-27. The central PM-KUSUM allowed no new projects after 31.12.2025 (MNRE OM, 28 Mar 2026) and PM-KUSUM 2.0 is awaited, so new applicants cannot count on the central 30%. Wait for PM-KUSUM 2.0 or a Rajasthan order for 2026-27.
