The guidelines limit portable sprinklers to 65% subsidy on a 1 ha unit only (cl. 3.2, p. 15 of 63). A smaller set for below 0.4 ha has a unit cost of ₹16,969 and a subsidy of ₹11,030 (same table, row 41).

Papers you need

  • Application form (Annexure-1) with Aadhaar-linked bank account, IFSC, a recent passport photo and your phone number (cl. 3.3.1–3.3.2)
  • Title deed, 1(B) register or Pattadar Pass Book attested by the Deputy Tahsildar / Tahsildar (cl. 3.3.4)
  • Identity proof: Aadhaar, ration card, voter ID, bank passbook, driving licence or passport (cl. 3.3.9)
  • Caste certificate attested by a Gazetted officer, for SC, ST and BC farmers (cl. 3.3.11)
  • Field sketch / FMB if available; water-sharing certificate if you share a well (cl. 3.3.7, 3.3.10)

How to apply

  1. Register online through a Mee-Seva centre or the TGMIP portal (or by OTP on your Aadhaar-linked mobile); the Pattadar Pass Book is mandatory (Non-negotiables 2, p. 1).
  2. Choose a micro-irrigation company from those allotted to your district; it surveys the field and submits the bench-mark survey, bill of quantities and GPS sheet (cl. 2.2.6, 3.3.12).
  3. Pay your own (non-subsidy) share by DD or online UTR; the Horticulture Officer inspects before and after installation (cl. 3.3.13, 3.3.14, 3.15).
  4. After final inspection the subsidy is released to the company against your system (cl. 3.16).
