Up to 45% of the approved unit cost as a front-ended state subsidy, with a bank loan of up to 45%; you put in at least 10%.
What the document says, word for word
Individuals can take 0.5 to 25 ha, SHGs and FPOs 1 to 50 ha (para 5(xi)). Bank defaulters are not eligible, and you cannot take the same component again if another government scheme already funded it (para 5(vii), (xiii)). No collateral up to ₹1.60 lakh loan for individuals and ₹10 lakh for SHGs (para 7(b)). The application form asks for an ST certificate (Annexure III.A).

Papers you need
- Proof of identity and address (Aadhaar card) and PAN card (Annexure II)
- Photographs of the borrower and guarantors (Annexure II)
- ST certificate — for an SHG or FPO, the team leader’s (Annexure III.A, item 8)
- Land document (LPC or other) certified by the GB/HGB/PRI and countersigned by the local administration, with a sketch map (Annexure III.A, item 9)
- For an FPO: registration papers, a board resolution and PAN card (Annexure II)
How to apply
- Pick a component from the approved list with its unit cost (Annexure I) — for example orange, kiwi, large cardamom, pineapple, a greenhouse or a power tiller (para 5(ix)).
- Submit the application (Annexure III) with your documents to the horticulture field officer, who registers it online; you can also register yourself on the Atma Nirbhar portal (para 3).
- A screening committee of bank managers and the district committee headed by the Deputy Commissioner check your proposal and send it to the bank (para 6(g)).
- Once the bank sanctions the loan, the subsidy is credited to your loan account with each instalment (para 5(iii), para 8).
