How to apply
- Apply on the MMPBY mobile app or web portal yourself or through an e-Mitra; any livestock keeper with a Jan Aadhaar card is eligible (पात्रता एवं आवेदन प्रक्रिया).
- Selection is first come, first served; Gopal Credit Card holders, Lakhpati Didi livestock keepers and the 2024-25 waiting list get priority, and 16% / 12% of district targets are kept for SC / ST keepers.
- Get the animals ear-tagged — tagging is compulsory — and have the value fixed by the veterinarian, you and the insurer together.
Applying is free. Never pay anyone to apply for you.
When to apply
Registration opens on the MMPBY portal for a fixed period each year; the cover runs for one year.
