Only primary cooperative societies apply — FPOs qualify only if registered under a Cooperative Societies Act (cl. 5.1). A society assisted once cannot apply again (cl. 11.4). 20% of the fund is kept for the North-East, hilly areas and weaker sections (cl. 6.2). The society may also take an NCDC loan alongside the grant (cl. 3.4). Assets cannot be sold or mortgaged without NCDC’s approval (cl. 11.3).

“3.2 The maximum grant assistance under the Scheme shall be up to ₹25 lakh per cooperative, to be decided on a case-to-case basis. 3.3 Assistance under the Scheme shall be provided in the form of 100% grant.”

PM-Kisan Samriddhi Kendras can also apply (cl. 2). A pharmacist (B.Pharm/D.Pharm), 120 sq ft of space and a drug sale licence are required; the ₹5,000 application fee is waived in the special-incentive areas (cl. 3). The ₹1,50,000 is a reimbursement against original bills, up to what you actually spent; the stock incentive is paid in full only if 80% or more of the prescribed medicines are kept (cl. 4).

Building must start within 180 days of sanction and finish within 18 months (condition 15). Two GRs of the same date and number (letters ACD/0743/07/2026 and ACD/0741/07/2026, archived) run the identical help — same ₹10 lakh / 50% / ₹5 lakh milk-house norm and the same 150 kg of feed — for SC-area and ST-area societies and for SC and ST livestock keepers.
